Question 1

What is the program?

Accepted Answer

A six-week, fully online study coaching program for groups of 5 to 8 students. It combines the science of learning with repeated practice using methods you can keep.

Question 2

Who is it for?

Accepted Answer

CEGEP students in any program. Methods adapt to the course: practice problems for math and science, blank-page recall for humanities and languages.

Question 3

Is it online?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The classes and one-on-ones all happen online, on Zoom.

Question 4

How big are the groups?

Accepted Answer

Groups have 5 to 8 students.

Question 5

Which language are sessions in?

Accepted Answer

Sessions are currently in English. French sessions are coming soon.

Question 6

How does the coaching work?

Accepted Answer

Each class combines a short lesson, a group case study and a supervised work session, and ends with 3 to 5 concrete tasks for your week. Between classes you tick off your tasks and post your predicted and real grades in Discord. In the one-on-ones, your coach goes over those numbers with you and helps you change one thing at a time.

Question 7

Who leads the classes and one-on-ones?

Accepted Answer

Trained InTuition coaches. Eric, InTuition's co-founder, designed the program; the coaches run the classes, the one-on-ones and the weekly check-ins.

Question 8

What happens in a class?

Accepted Answer

Each class lasts 90 minutes on Zoom. It opens with a check-in on last week's tasks, then a short lesson on one study topic with questions built in. Next, the group works through a case study of a typical student situation. You then say what you'll work on and do a supervised deep-work block of around 25 minutes on your own coursework. The class ends with you setting 3 to 5 concrete tasks for the week and reading them to the group. Class 1 adds a kickoff and a personal goal you write down, and Class 5 is a finale where everyone shares their progress.

Question 9

What if I fall behind?

Accepted Answer

Nobody fails the program. If you miss a class, or miss your tasks two weeks in a row, your coach schedules a short 15-minute call to help you get back on track.

Question 10

What are the one-on-ones for?

Accepted Answer

You start with an onboarding one-on-one of about 20 minutes to get set up. Then five 30-minute one-on-ones with your coach are for reviewing what worked and what didn't, and adjusting your schedule and habits one small change at a time. Anything specific to you is handled there, not in the group class.

Question 11

What am I paying for?

Accepted Answer

An onboarding one-on-one, five 90-minute group classes, five 30-minute one-on-ones, a personal check-in every week, access to the participants' Discord community, a final resource, and discounts on future InTuition services.

Question 12

How much is it?

Accepted Answer

Founding cohort price: $255, paid in one payment.

Question 13

Can I cancel?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can cancel within 48 hours after your onboarding one-on-one.

Question 14

Can parents attend the intro call?

Accepted Answer

Yes, parents are welcome on the intro call, and they can get updates on what we cover in the sessions. Beyond that, the program is built around the student's own autonomy: the coaching is tailored to them, and the system they build is theirs.
